Privacy Policy

Conceivable World LLC ("CW") knows that users of its web site care about the personal information they provide to us. This privacy policy, which is part of our overall Terms and Conditions of Use, is designed to provide you with information about how we collect, store and use personally identifiable information obtained through our web site. CW reserves the right to revise this privacy policy from time to time, and by using the CW web site, you are agreeing to the terms of the then current privacy policy.

How Information Is Collected

While you may use some of the functionality of the CW web site without registration, many of the specific tools and services on our website require registration. If you use the CW web site without registering, the only information we collect will be “non-personal information” through the use of “cookies” and “web beacons” (as defined below). “Non-personal information” is information that is not traceable back to any individual and cannot be used to identify an individual (i.e. information such as gender, age, city and state when not linked with other personally identifiable information). Third parties under contract with CW may also use cookies or web beacons to collect non-personal information about your usage of the CW web site, and this information may be used by CW to tailor the advertising you may see on the CW web site and on sites within the networks of these third parties. This non-personal information is anonymous and does not contain any personal information about you.

If you choose to register with our web site for certain interactive tools and other services, we require you to submit certain “personally identifiable information.” Depending on the tool or service you have selected, we may also collect personal health information. “Personal identifiable information” is information that can be traced back to an individual, such as your name, home address, telephone number, e-mail address and “personal health information.” “Personal health information” is your personal identifiable information combined with known health characteristics. Some of this requested material is optional and can be given at your discretion. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the personally identifiable information (including personal health information) you submit to the CW web site. Inaccurate information will affect the information you receive when using our site and tools and our ability to contact you as described in this Privacy Policy. For example, your e-mail address should be kept current because that is how we communicate with you.

You can also submit information about other people pursuant to certain web site services offered by us. For example, you might submit a person’s name and e-mail address to send them an e-card through the CW web site. The types of personal information that may be collected about other people at these pages may include such information as recipient’s name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number. Please be sure to consult with these individuals prior to providing such information.

Like most web sites, CW uses "cookies." A "cookie" is a text file, invoked by standard browser software, that we place on your hard drive to enable our systems to, among other things, recognize your browser, track transactions, and allow you to navigate our web site without having to re-enter information. We may also automatically receive and store certain other types of non-personally identifying information, such as the type of web browser you use or the pages you link to from the CW web site. The information gathered by cookies is not made readily available to other companies, organizations or individual, however, such information may be provided to third parties in the aggregate.

“Web beacons” or clear .gifs are small pieces of code placed on a web page to monitor the behavior and collect data about the visitors viewing a web page. For example, web beacons can be used to count the users who visit a web page or to deliver a cookie to the browser of a visitor viewing that page. We may use web beacons on this site from time-to-time for this and other purposes.

Use Of Information We Collect

Personal information collected through this web site may be used by CW to communicate with you, register you as a user, allow purchasing and shipping of products or services, enable you to participate in special promotions and interactive social networks and to navigate the web site without having to re-enter information, administer our web site, comply with applicable law, and as otherwise provided in this privacy policy. We may occasionally make personally identifiable information available (e.g. in the form of subject specific contact lists) to select other companies or organizations, including affiliated companies or organizations, agents working on our behalf, companies or organizations with whom we have a contractual or sponsor relationship, or in connection with an asset transfer. We may also provide aggregated data to these and other companies or organizations. Although we may make reasonable inquiries to determine that such other companies or organizations maintain web site privacy policies comparable to ours, we are not responsible for the enforcement of such policies.

As a registered user of the CW web site, CW may use your personally identifiable information to send updates, newsletters, and various notices to you via e-mail. If you provide your mailing address or telephone number, CW may also use your personally identifiable information to contact you by mail or by telephone regarding special offers from CW, updated information about CW or the CW web site, and new services offered by CW. If you wish to be removed from this contact list, you may do so by contacting CW directly.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to content, business information, ideas, concepts or inventions that you send to CW by e-mail. If you want to keep content or business information, ideas, concepts or inventions private or proprietary, do not send them in an e-mail to CW. We try and answer every e-mail within 48 business hours, but are not always able to do so.

Newsletters & E-mails to You

At registration and at various times as you use the CW web site, you will be given the option to “opt-in” and receiving recurring informational promotional newsletters and other information via e-mail from CW, our sponsors, and/or directly from third parties. These e-mails will not contain personal health information. In order to subscribe to these e-mails, we need your contact information, like name and e-mail address. You can unsubscribe from these e-mails by contacting CW directly.

Third-Party Service Providers

CW may engage reputable third-party vendors in order to help us manage our web site and allow us to better service our visitors and customers. These may include third-party vendors engaged to analyze, for marketing purposes, the information collected on our web site.

The CW web site may also contain links to third-party web sites, through advertisements or otherwise. Once you leave the CW web site, this privacy policy will not apply to such web sites. Visitors and customers should consult other sites’ privacy notices as we have no control over information this submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.

The CW web site may use third-party platforms to provide services to visitors and customers, including, without limitation, product and service purchase and other interactive services, such as social networks, blogs, and picture sharing forums. All web platforms powered by third-parties may have separate terms and conditions of use and privacy policies. To the extent possible, third-party privacy policies and terms and conditions of use will be displayed on the CW web pages utilizing these third-party platforms, or in the alternative, a link to the platform provider’s web site will be displayed. Visitors and customers should consult the terms and conditions of use and privacy policies of all third-party service providers prior to the continued use of these portions of the CW web site.

Message Boards and other Public Forums

As a service to our users, CW features message boards, blogs, chat rooms, and other public forums where users with similar interests or medical conditions can share information and support one another or where users can post questions for experts to answer. Any information shared (including personally identifiable information and personal health information) that you reveal in a chat room, message board, blog, or online discussion is by design open to the public and is not a private, secure service. You should think carefully before disclosing any personally identifiable information or personal health information in any public forum. What you have written may be seen, disclosed to or collected by third parties and may be used by others in ways we are unable to control or predict, including to contact you for unauthorized purposes. As with any public forum on any site, this information may appear in third-party search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

Administration Of Our Web Site / Compliance With Law

We may disclose your personally identifiable information when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Terms and Conditions of Use or to protect the safety, property or other rights of our users or the public. In addition, we may disclose or access account information for administrative and other purposes that we believe are necessary to develop, maintain, and improve our products and services. We also may disclose your personally identifiable information if we believe in good faith that we are required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, a subpoena, or other legal process.
